Eobot.com has been online since 2012 and registered company in California US. The owners want to stay anonymous and do not offer any name or address other than a phone, email, and contact form.
The website offers 3 kind of services
- Exchange
- Mining pool
- Cloud-mining
Eobot.com is kinda an odd experience first-time visit. The website design and layout are built as a site back in 2000 simple and lots of text, missing styling as it was back then. That does not mean it lacks new coding as the code itself is by the new standard. I guess the owners just like the simplicity as it was once.
Even your dashboard welcome you in a classic MLM icon/text style and advertising taking you back 20 years.
Mining reward and contracts
A strange part is their cloud mining reward. After careful calculation, it seems the daily reward per one TH is 415 times less than the normal daily reward before power cost. Also, the reason why the site state you only break even on your deposit after 137.66 years. Yes, you read correctly, it’s not a typo! Nobody in their right mind would pay to never get it back, at least not on purpose thou.
Contracts are stated as 24H and 10 years, then again the Faq says the contracts are now 5 years after a change back in 2014. So when calculating the price for a 1 TH we used the 5 ears and ended at 1.6 USD per year for 1TH.
It would be nice if information was more transparent and matching.
The daily fee is a fixed price on only 0.022 USD per TH what seems unrealistic low unless you use solar or another green power source.
What to mine?
Same as the mining pools they have, you can select a multiply choice of coins to mine as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Ripple, Dash, Tron, Cardano, CureCoin, NEM, Monero, Zcash, Tezos, Bytecoin, STEEM, Lisk, EOS, USDC, Stellar, Ethereum Classic, and Grin.
Status
Unfortunately, we have many reports on people losing deposits why we have to set status as SCAM. We are aware most are lost in the low rewards return and a few reports getting stuck in the verification also with a following loss.
Since the reports are many as it is, we have to warn others to try this service even the fact that their exchange service seems to get good votes we still report only on cloud mining.
