Conclusion
Bitmonkey claims to be a mining rig provider. They have also said that they have smart mining farms in Airdrie, AB, Canada. Yet, they did not provide any proof about it. There is no video and images that prove that they actually own a smart mining farm. They also don’t have any formal company registration per se. This is one major red flag.
The company has provided names of their founders, who also act as C-Suite personnel of the company. They have also added their LinkedIn profiles. But none of them have mentioned anything about Bitmonkey.ca on their LinkedIn profiles. That’s strange.
The website is also quite average at best and doesn’t stand out even though it is a custom-made website. A lot of text is missing on the site, then there are broken links to socials, one can only order by sending a contact, among many other issues. So many manual processes mean that the system is not built to handle all this stuff. This indicates that the founders are not serious about the business or don’t know how to do business.
It’s doubtful if they can deliver what they intend to. Their setup seems like a half job done. It seems that their site is dead, with no traffic whatsoever. Their domain registration happened in 2018. Yet, there are no other reviews about them on the web. It looks as if they gave up already.
During our research for Bitmonkey review, we also checked their website thoroughly. We found that their registration page also doesn’t seem to work as intended. They are directing their website visitors to the contact page instead. As they score 3/10 in our red flag rating, we put them in the waiting category. We will keep tabs on them and will change their ratings if they improve. Our rating for Bitmonkey.ca is 0.6 out of 5.0.
